Michael is a highly knowledgeable and engaging speaker with a long-standing enthusiasm for Tunbridge ware. Following his excellent presentation at The Amelia, he will be sharing his expertise on the craftsmanship behind these beautiful decorative wooden objects. The talk will explore how Tunbridge ware was made, how techniques developed over time and how topographical views, many depicting familiar local scenes - were used to decorate items such as jewellery boxes and small occasional tables.
