Churches and Places of Worship

Our community retains several churches but sadly has lost the Wesleyan and Vale Road Methodist Churches.

St. Peter’s in London Road (built 1830, extended 1883), St. Thomas’ in Pennington Road (built 1860) and Christ Church in Prospect Road (built 1870) are Grade II Listed Buidlings.
